So we head off to hike mile 6, aka "The Indiana Jones Hike", and described by another visitor as "The four falls".
This hike is everything I hoped to encounter. The photo shows the low key entrance into a bamboo forest. Follow the trail down to the stream bed and soon you're boulder hopping upstream to see four falls varying from 5 to 40 feet in height. The last, the tallest, is impassable as a shear cliff face but with a deep pool beneath into which we jumped from a 12 foot cliff. To get here we had to climb lots of rocks, scale a slippery slope, climb a knotted rope, and swim a long pool. A great adventure and Christopher held his own making me terribly proud!
